Improve the sound quality of your recordings with audio re-clocking
It is widely known that the use of a master clock more or less improves the sound quality of digital audio devices. But to bring out the finest signal details in your audio recordings, and thus make individual instruments as clear as possible in their positions in space, is best done with high-resolution audio re-clocking of your recordings. This is provided by MUTEC's new re-clocking algorithms in combination with the 1G clock technology in the MC-3+ Smart Clock. High-resolution sampling of the incoming audio signal enables extremely precise merging of the audio data with the newly generated ultra low-jitter clock signal, resulting in impressive, authentic spatiality with the clearest throughput in your audio production.

A truly new step in audio clock generation
While third parties still promote their products with technically standard known arguments, MUTEC really sets a new mark in the field of audio clock generation with the proprietary 1G clock technology in the MC-3+ Smart Clock. Letting a DDS-based frequency synthesis process operate at a precisely calculated, very high clock rate completely eliminates jitter and noise artifacts that are always present in all other DDS processes. In addition, borrowing from the latest high-speed network communication technologies, we developed completely new ultra-low noise power supplies and PCB design guidelines, which allowed us to reduce the system's noise performance to a minimum. On this basis, our 1G clock technology is able to perfect your audio recordings with unparalleled transparency and detail.
Use in the studio and at live events
The new MC-3+ Smart Clock also works as a clock distributor, whereby it, unlike other products, fully regenerates incoming signals and thereby usually exceeds the quality of the signal source. In this way, an existing clock system can be stabilized and the sound quality of your entire studio set-up can additionally be significantly improved. In situations where the accuracy of the MC-3+'s digitally compensated clock generation is not sufficient, it is possible to synchronize the system to so-called atomic clocks or GPS receivers to adjust its clock accuracy to the highest possible level. For use during live recordings or in broadcast trucks, the MC-3+ provides fully redundant signal generation in any operating condition. Failure of a clock reference or its resynchronization will not cause phase jumps or signal interruptions at the outputs of the MC-3+, ensuring a seamless clock supply to your recording set-up.
