Heinz Electrodynamic Design (HEDD) is the leading Berlin-based manufacturer of high-quality audio equipment, serving music professionals and audiophiles worldwide. In 2015, physicist Klaus Heinz and his son, mastering engineer Dr. Frederik Knop, founded the company with the express purpose of manufacturing studio monitors, subwoofers and main speakers, among other products. In 2020, HEDD expanded its product line to include the first full-frequency-range AMT Signature HEDDphone. Producers, sound engineers, artists and high-end enthusiasts use HEDD for music production, mastering and home hi-fi.
