Technically advanced mechanical headset mounting design
The one-size-fits-all headset is the most advanced design on the market. It provides comfort for extended wear without sacrificing safety. Its shape fits gently and snugly around the head and is easily adjustable. The spring mechanisms that grip around the ears are gentle, but firm enough to keep you secure during your performance. The headset can also be customized in the field to fit each performer perfectly. These features are also why it won the prestigious Red Dot Award in 2019.
One size fits all
The headset's frame is made of stainless steel with a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating that makes it extremely durable. It can withstand high temperatures and is resistant to impact and abrasion. The frame is a one-size-fits-all design with a simple adjustment mechanism for quick and easy sizing. Anatomically correct, its unique shape fits snugly and comfortably around the head. The entire microphone has a pleasant, matte finish that makes the entire headset look smaller and less obtrusive than other headset solutions. It also does not add to the size of the microphone, as the PVD is both extremely durable and extremely thin.
3-Point ear grips
The ear grips on the new headset are some pretty impressive technology. Most headsets have either a 1- or 2-point grip system that rests on the ear, or (sometimes) grips under the ear. This headset relies on a 3-point grip system - it adds a support area behind the ear that pushes slightly inward. This not only allows the headset to fit more securely around the head, even during bumps, but also makes it very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. In addition, the advanced ergonomic shape of these earpieces conforms to the shape of your head.
IP58 certified
CORE miniatures are certified to IP58. This resistance is achieved through a number of protective mechanisms:
- Water-repellent nano-coating on the cover and housing.
- Hermetic sealing of the sensitive amplifier in the microphone core
- Double gold plating of the diaphragm
The Adapter System gives you flexibility
Wireless system adapters give you flexible, easy, and affordable options. You're no longer tied to a single wireless system. If circumstances change, you can simply change your adapter instead of incurring the cost of an entirely new microphone. When you switch, you won't hear any loss or change in the microphone's sound quality because the adapters are designed to work with specific types of transmitters.

90° Cable Management System
The headset's cable management system is located directly on the back of the headset frame, making it easy to organize cables and route them out of sight on the performer's back. The cable guide can be moved from side to side, so it can be moved out of the camera's field of view, for example. The special design also separates the cables from the boom movement, ensuring that the cables are not pulled when the boom is moved. This helps extend the life of the microphone cables.
The cable is often the weak point in this type of microphone, but we have chosen to use the same cable size (Ø 1.6 mm (.06 in)) as usual. It is extremely robust, does not tangle, and has a Kevlar inner core that can withstand rough handling and is the highest standard on the market.
The cable, capsule and headband design provide immunity to noisy wireless devices. Headsets typically connect to a wireless belt pack, and we offer a comprehensive mix of adapters to fit the many wireless transmitters available. All DPA connectors are equipped with rugged strain relief.
