With very low noise and high sensitivity, the DPA ceiling and table microphones offer the clearest, most transparent and natural sound available in the market for microphones with a small footprint. They ensure maximum speech intelligibility regardless of the acoustic environment. With a linear frequency response, low distortion and an extremely wide dynamic range, they sound great in any environment.
The microphone base is specifically designed for use with the 4098 CORE Supercardioid Podium Microphone with super-cardioid polar pattern. It has an elegant but unobtrusive design with a white, non-reflective surface and integrated shock mount. The audio cables are an integral part of the microphone base unit.
The microphone base fits into most electrical sockets and ensures easy installation. In addition, the great off-axis response and the nature of the sound level in relation to distance make it possible to cover a small to medium sized room with only one or a few microphones.
Table microphones with supercardioid characteristic
A complete table microphone solution with a supercardioid polar pattern, ideal for permanent tabletop mounting or temporary tabletop placement in conference, meeting and boardroom environments.
This solution can be scaled as needed. In smaller rooms, you may only need one microphone to capture the best sound. In larger rooms, you can use multiple microphones to ensure that every area of the room is completely covered. The best audio quality is obtained in a one-to-one solution - a microphone position close to the person speaking.
The microphone base is designed specifically for use with the 4098 CORE Supercardioid Podium Microphone. It has a sleek yet unobtrusive design with a black non-reflective surface and a built-in shock mount that ensures that vibrations from people touching the table and reverberation from people entering and leaving the room do not affect the sound. The audio cables are an integral part of the microphone base unit.
The standard tabletop solution is equipped with a 43 cm long black gooseneck and comes in three standard sets that are tailored exactly to your needs:
- Table microphone, 43 cm, black with MicroDot (unbalanced)
- Table microphone, 43 cm, black, open end, P48 (balanced)
- Table microphone, 43 cm, black with XLR (balanced)
Other gooseneck lengths can be ordered separately. DPA recommends table solutions with gooseneck in 16 cm, 28 cm and 43 cm length. A longer gooseneck is not recommended.
