RME Connector
RME Connector - Control of 12Mic, 12Mic-D and AVB Tool via network & MIDI
For users who previously used the "RME MIDI Remote AVB", the settings are imported at the first start. Some new features are available:
Devices can now be controlled over a network connection.
This is based on the same protocols as the web frontend and therefore does not require a wired (or AVB) network. Simply connect a WiFi router to the device, connect to the WiFi and the RME Connector will recognize all available 12Mics, 12Mic-Ds and AVB Tools. Since the control is done via the network with a much higher bandwidth than via MIDI, you can control more functions of the device and more will be added in the future.
Note: Devices in the RME Connector are either MIDI devices or network devices - not both. So if you have already set up a number of MIDI devices, these will be recognized and added as network devices in addition to the MIDI devices. Of course, a device can be MIDI and network controlled at the same time - in this case, two devices are then displayed, one for MIDI and one for network.
