RME MADI

MADI is the optimum solution for the transmission of multiple audio channels. The technical problems of "normal" multicores, such as cable losses, interference, ageing processes, high weight and poor handling, do not occur here. A thin cable transmits up to 64 audio channels - completely loss-free - over distances of up to 2000 metres. RME has perfected the technology and at the same time made it significantly cheaper. In addition to MADI interfaces, their product range also includes converters for the common digital formats AES/EBU and ADAT to MADI, as well as PCI solutions for Windows and MAC.
