Low Noise Isolating DC Filter
RME's unique and innovative active DC filter in a compact form factor filters the output signal of any power supply to a high-end HiFi battery level while breaking ground/hum loops with two exclusive features: Galvanic isolation and RME's μFilter.
Galvanic isolation - clean, battery like performance and cleaning efficiency
The galvanic isolation almost completely eliminates the common leakage current of switching power supplies, reducing the coupling capacitance between input and output from typically 1 nF (nano Farad) to less than 35 pF (pico Farad). The LNI-2 DC operates from a 9V to 18V DC power source and delivers a constant, perfect 12.0V output.
μFilter - Super low noise regulator & sensor based stabilisation
RME's μFilter consists of a discrete low noise linear regulator with sensationally low noise, soft start, thermal and current overload protection, thus being 100% short circuit proof. Two status LED at the top of the unit signal existing input and output voltage and overload.
As further special feature the ground of the DC output can optionally be connected to PE, ground or other devices ground via a ground terminal screw to solve ground cabling issues.Features
