The F311 has minimal self-noise, with excellent sound characteristics and perfect features. Ideal for complementing mixing consoles with unsatisfactory preamps, for "on-location" recording or for "direct to tape" recordings. Phase reversal and high-pass filter are single, phantom power is switchable in pairs.

In the F311 there are two electronically balanced XLR outputs and also RCA connectors. The power supply with mains voltage is via an IEC/CEE socket.
"We leave cheap adjustments via simple pots to the competition!" The gain is elaborately adjusted via step switches, in twelve 6 dB steps, from 0 to +66 dB. Therefore, it is exactly reproducible and the same in both channels.
