Lake People
G101

Headphone Amplifier

The Lake People G101 combines quality, performance and compact mobility for a wide range of audio, video and voice production applications. Unique to the G101 is its rugged construction with precise, variable gain (including PRE-GAIN as a top feature), suitable for headphones from 8 to 600 ohms, and its connectivity: USB-C power and options such as a 3.5mm jack for in-ear monitoring make it suitable for a wide range of applications - whether on a laptop or stationary via RCA connectors.

Highest quality housing and components

The body of the G101 is made from black anodised aluminium. This ensures high mechanical stability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. The high electrical conductivity of the surfaces results in excellent EMC properties.

The front panel is 3 mm thick.

The 18mm machined aluminium knob is the centrepiece of the Lake People G103S MKII. Thanks to its balanced weight and the Alps RK14 potentiometer, it offers a smooth, high-precision turning action for precise volume control.

Lake People PRE-GAIN

4-way adjustable gain for optimum adaptation to all sources and headphones (rear, -6, 0, +6, +12 dB).

Unlike other headphone amplifiers, the overall gain can be adjusted to suit the headphones being used by means of jumpers on the rear panel. Thanks to this unique Lake People technology, the headphone amplifier can be used with almost all known headphone impedances from 8 to 600 ohms, and is as low-noise and dynamic as possible.

Perfect protection for your headphones

Lake People headphone amplifiers are equipped with several protection circuits to prevent headphone failure. These circuits protect against overvoltage, sudden current spikes or short circuits that could damage sensitive headphones. By incorporating these protections, the amplifier ensures that the headphones always receive a safe and stable supply of power, significantly extending the life of the headphones.
