The TYPE 05 is a monitor that fits into the smallest of spaces and still delivers outstanding performance. It is ideal for home studios, broadcast and video editing. This compact 2-way monitor offers greater clarity and control across the frequency range than most industry standards, and includes all the DSP-enabled features of our MK2 Series.
It is also an excellent addition to Atmos ceiling installations, especially in smaller rooms.

Key Features
Air Motion Transformer
Handcrafted in Berlin from the highest quality components, the HEDD Air Motion Transformer uses HEDD's expertise to deliver impeccable transient response and ultra-high frequency extension. As a result, the high frequencies remain transparent and linear and do not distort the natural sound reproduction in any way.
Lineariser®
The HEDD Lineariser is an optional feature that eliminates loudspeaker-related time delays, improving transient response and imaging accuracy. The phase correction can be synchronised with the HEDD BASS subwoofer line to compensate for group delay in a satellite subsystem.
CoP: Closed or Ported
When open, the monitors deliver the voluminous bass with the impressive extension you expect. Close the bass ports with the stopper and experience a new level of bass precision, detail and harmony.
