The Pro Tools | MTRX Dual MADI I/O Card is a PCIe card that fits into the MTRX expansion slots. It has two snap-in SFPs (small-form-factor plug-able) for optical (LC) or coaxial (mini-BNC) MADI transceivers, so you can transmit up to 128 MADI audio channels with two SFP transceivers.

MTRX Dual MADI I/O Card vs. MADI Module
The Dual MADI I/O Card is a PCIe card that fits into one or more of the eight expansion slots on the back of the MTRX interface. It has empty SFP (small form-factor plug-able) ports that accept a variety of SFP transceivers with different wavelengths and light sources.
The MTRX MADI I/O module allows the Pro Tools | MTRX base unit to send and receive up to 64 bi-directional audio channels via MADI, while freeing up the expansion slots for other types of I/O, including MADI. The MADI module connections are located in the MTRX base unit in the optical I/O slot above the DigiLink connectors.
