Pro Tools interfaces have come a long way since their inception. Now, with the modular MTRX system, not only can you choose your own inputs and outputs, but you no longer need third-party converters. In addition to two high-quality, ultra-low noise and transparent preamps, the MTRX 2 Mic/Line Pristine AD Card is complemented by DAD (Digital Audio Denmark) AD converters, which are among the best converters on the market and are known for their extremely clean, transparent and detailed sound.

In addition to relay-based input gain circuitry for the shortest possible signal path, the preamps are remotely controllable via EUCON-enabled DADman software. With DADman, you also have the option of setting one of the speaker or monitor outputs in the control room as a talkback source and activating the cut and dim options for each output. The MTRX allows the use of up to six option slots to mix and match analogue (AD/DA) cards. This provides up to 48 analogue mic/line input channels per MTRX interface, ideal for any application from music recording to post-production.
