Premium Preamplifier

Your preamp is one of the most important components for high-quality recording. The Apogee Duet's preamps are the best on the market. With up to 65dB of gain and 48V of phantom power, you can record any audio source clearly and accurately, even with the most demanding microphones. Apogee's meticulous design keeps noise and distortion low, even when you crank up the gain.

Connection to the onboard DSP

To get the best recording possible, you need to be able to record quickly and smoothly. Latency is the enemy of good audio. Duet's built-in DSP for Apogee FX processing lets you precisely shape your sound at the input, ensuring great-sounding tracks and eliminating the latency that can occur during recording.

Choose from several hand-crafted Clearmountain presets and record with zero latency through the Duet's built-in DSP.

Apogee Control 2 Software

The all-new Apogee Control software gives you complete control over all of Duet's functions and features, including Symphony ECS Channel Strip FX running on Duet's hardware DSP. Apogee Control 2 is used by all Apogee products and ensures that Apogee support and engineering can quickly respond to future macOS and Windows OS updates to ensure compatibility of your workstation.

Duet Dock - The ultimate Duet Desktop experience

Duet is the industry standard for making and recording music on the go. Its small footprint and flexible breakout cable set the bar high. When you're working in your studio, the Duet 3 is best used with the new Duet Dock (sold separately). The dock positions the Duet at the ideal angle for quick adjustments and visibility of displays and functions. Connectors on the back of the Duet Dock make it easier to organize and connect your cables to the Duet.
